Yep, we really could make a good tv show, we need no script already know how to rag on and do the drama bit.   Now if everyone could just learn how NOT to find gold, it would be just like the Hoffmans on TV!!!  The Hoffmans might actually do well this season, but time will tell, they still have the drama down pat though!! |

I love that show and at the same time I hate that show for how its got so many people into mining. I thought the peak of interest in gold mining/prospecting was around 2007. after that I expected everything to go back to normal as the gold prices began to fall. I could not have been more wrong... meet gold rush Alaska. now everybody and their uncles dig holes. ive met some good people because of that. also missed out on some good gold too.

ya'll talk about old timey things, I teach people how to operate dredges and highbankers and send them home with all the gold. On good gold bearing dirt as well for free. I have always shared my spots, had public spots for everyone to goto. People have called me up asking for a spot, I have given them spots. They show me the gold they get, it's not about the gold, it's about the fun of doing it. It doesn't matter that I own a dredge. I am happy just letting people use it. Ya don't need to hike 85 miles into the bush to find good gold, ya can be in a ditch off a street. That is why I am so threatening to all them other prospectors, I am not worried about the gold. It's nice, but once I get a picture, it can go back in the creek for all I care. I know shadow was there one day, and he tried to get me to take half the gold, I told him I ain't taking it and I will put it back in the creek, it convinced him to take it home.. |

Making a video now.. LOL last year I gave a big ass picker to art, he never knew about it.. it was on the rocky river and I slipped it into his concentrate.. He was so proud of that picker..
