We got back out on Saturday to do some testing of the gravel layer and also tried to see how far to water table level. We found the water... lol. We ran about 120 gallons of material through the sluice for about 5 hours. This was about an average run for a day. We started on the right side of the trench where I had already found some decent gold in it. We expanded that side about 7' long and another 2-3ft down. Water!!! The 2 feet of gravel on top of the decomposing county bed rock. The gold was also about average for the material moved.

I don't know, Loki. I am starting to get discouraged. That is an awful lot of work for the amount of gold you are getting, at least to me. I am glad you have the opportunity to do this. Probably time to shoot some more video and bring in the next part of this story. Did you ever get your channel up or give up on the idea? You two are working hard! I am really starting to like dredging in the cold water and freezing my butt off better though. Making my back hurt dudes. Lol.

I focused on going deep as i could. Hit bed rock then started working back to the bigger rocks following the bedrock. Found a crack in the bedrock, refocused on that crack, then it got wet, then water started seeping in. Figured if nothing else located the water table..lol. Now need to expand that hole wider following the bedrock as we go. The bedrock its self is decomposing. Its gonna be very interesting getting those big rocks out, but wider we get it, and with the main pit being a lot bigger should be a new challenge for us. What I dug Saturday 15' to 20'' wide 4-5 foot long and a foot deep, basically a rock coffin with water coming in..lmao.
<=========Like my new avatar.. Had a co-worker draw it then I made into what I really wanted. Took me 2-3 days coloring it pixel by pixel. Having a license plate made soon.

Have ya'll though about pumping some water into this hole and using a dredge to get everything possible sucked up off the bedrock and out of the crevices?

That's the plan when it warms up.
