For about two hours in a spot I have hunted many times over the years. Nothing of excitement but steady finds today. This particular area has been good for many years, it is in plain sight of any and everyone yet I seem to be the only person hunting it. Very strange. Over the years have found Indian head pennies, wheat pennies, rosy and merc dimes. Beautiful morning to wander about.

All a matter of finding the right area. Getting harder here these days, things are getting so built up. This particular area is cool because it is wide open, no one seems to hunt it but me. Cannot find real proof but am pretty sure there used to be an old house in this area. Also has been a parking area for events. That's why I keep going back. Great place to re tune in everything.

I think people get discouraged by the trash they find. Everyone finds trash. I dig up a lot of trash targets, it's interesting what ya find when your looking for something else.

Yep trash can be a major pain but also occasionally turn up something really cool. Have one spot I am hunting these days that I have found nothing old, some new coin. The place was a consignment store for a number of years. Anyway the structure was original 1909. Finding tons of empty busted mason jars with the ceramic disc lids. Hoping to find the trash pit and maybe some whole bottles.
