Hey everyone, after running here in ohio for a year, and sending all my videos to my grandpa in FL. He is hooked and has the fever~ He is looking for property in Ga NC or Sc to do some once a year prospecting on.. Not sure if I should point him to like the weekend gold miners club? Or try to talk him into buying property..any heads up??

Loki is in that wegm club they seem to do pretty good. Maybe he could help you out.

If only once a year I wouldn't join any clubs... I would just go to Thermal City or Lucky Strike. Decent motels nearby if not camping. And still good gold in the 2nd broad river up there. Plus he can buy dirt and use their equipment. Keeps expenses down that way for a once a year trip, and no lugging your own equipment around. But it also depends on what he wants to do... Pan/Sluice/Highbank/Dredge? Just my thoughts. I can always host him as a guest at LDMA properties. I dropped my WEGM a while ago...

Hey, I just realized I posted in the trusted friends..lol not general general board lol. I dono how long wegm has owned their properties..do you know how many they had active when you were last a member? Its hard to say it would only be a once a year trip. I'd probably live a happy prospector life if I never visited a pay to dig place. I rather be deep woods and not see another soul all day! Unless we buy property im leaning towards a smaller club such as wegm, although I would like to at least visit the GA LDMA claim and see whats left..lol

They have 2 properties now. The third property is having neighboring property land disputes and is tied up in the court system. We have to wait for that to clear up before we can go back.

How are the properties they have still? finding good color still? I ask because our ohio gpaa claim is 30 years old...not much at all left but dust

You'll find gold pretty much anywhere on the rivers. Some places better than others. Of course the easy access areas are worked fairly hard but it gets replenished by flow gold after every storm. All my video's are from the property.
