Yea thought my 3 mm suit would be fine but wow this water is cold. Time to get in my 7mm. If that doesn't do the trick I guess water heater is next.

Met up with Troyoz and we are getting into what should be good material but not seeing what should be in the dredges. We'll hit it again tomorrow and try to get down to bedrock. We have two 4in dredges side by side. Down and forward is the plan for the morning.

Couldn't believe it. The 8ft deep hole I punched 2 weeks ago was completely filled and that was with no rain. We punched a couple new holes just in front of my old one. Troyoz was getting some nice chunky peices. We finally hit bedrock on the last day but we had to do some adjusting due to some huge boulders blocking our paths. All and all, we had a great time. Couldn't have asked for better weather. The water was a bit chilly but the 7mm seemed to do the trick. It won't be long before I have to break out the heater though.
