Made from a solid piece of 16ga solid steel piping, you have the advantage of less friction loss." I think this would be easy to do to a standard suction nozzle. Just drill a hole, tac weld a small piece of tubing exactly where the one in the pic is, maybe with a sharper angle though. As for the "picker nozzle" just use the hard plastic crevice tube that you can get off any vacuum cleaner.

I like the idea, and I agree easy to do if you can drill and weld, or know someone that has the equipment, I also think it would have better suction if the connection was at a sharper angle towards the main hose, like the high pressure jet connection in reverse, I don't like it at 90 dregees.

Yea the 90 deg wouldn't have as much suction compared to say a 45 deg. Not sure what they were thinking on that, every dredger knows 90 deg angles kill water pressure/suction

I would go around 13 to 15 degrees, that's the angle on most jets.
