Not much time, but I wanted to share my biggest adventure of my camping trip. Somehow I broke my 4 point sway control hitch on my way to Cherokee and had to tow back home on Sunday with it disconnected. Fun fun having those semi trucks blow by and suck the camper sideways.  |

While there camping, I met a couple from North Georgia and got an invite to come down this winter and dredge several locations they have full time access to.
Also panned some while I was there (outside of the reservation) and found a little color. I was told that dredges are seen from time to time in some of these rivers.

Wow, what brand is the hitch, how old is the hitch, I would take it back to where you purchased it if not too old!!!

It is an equalizer brand hitch rated to 10000 pounds total with 1000 pounds hitch weight. The camper weighs in at 7000 pounds with a hitch weight of 675. It was brand new, less than 2 weeks old and it has already been replaced, but I am still waiting on some answers as to why so I can make sire it does not happen again.
