Nah we did alright this weekend, was slim pickings we only got out Sunday. Got pan the cons. Scott actually broke out his wet suit and went for scoops of material that was out of reach and I repaired my gold-n-sand and it works better than it did new. Really think it wasn't assembled correctly as the check valve was free floating and not attached to the flapper...

Check valves last 20 strokes or 20 minutes which ever comes first. Red replaced the first one and said they had production problems. The second one didn't last any longer than the first. Bought and replaced one more and it was junk too.

Ya, I have had issues with it from day one... But it actually worked very well yesterday to my surprise. No pickers but a decent amount of fines and course flakes...

Best part of my gold n sand is the bucket. At least it didnt break after one use. I have had flapper problems, seal problems, and the handle came off. I just junked it. But I kept the bucket. It limits me on how much I try to carry out of the creek. Lol
