Nice find.. Not sure how you would process that if you wanted to keep the crystals intact, but if ya was looking for gold, the hammer would be the choice

I looked inside that pocket the best I could and didn't see any gold and believe me I was looking :-)

Leave it as is, Lee. It's just common vug quartz but if you like it, that's what really matters.

Hey Indy, thanks for the help with identifying the quartz. I find myself looking a lot closer at rocks now when I'm out prospecting. I love finding gold, but looking for gemstones is becoming a new adventure for me :-) Thanks again

Rocks are a kick, Lee. Love finding cool specimens as much as I do gold. Keep a sharp eye. More is waiting.
