He is quiet. He is either on the gold and hogging it all or he is still chasing that streak.

I wish I was finding gold though... but other projects gotta be done too. Happy wife, Happy life. LOL On the dredge engine (POS)Chinese crap... I got a 2.5hp 2" pump semi-trash last year and have barely 5-6 hours if that total running time. It couldn't get it to fire off so I checked and changed out the factory plug with a new one. That took care of the fire. I could get it to run a short few seconds on starter fluid but the carb was pretty clogged. Took the carb apart yesterday got some gum out and cleaned the heck out of it... I removed the gas tank and cleaned out sediment that had built up. Put it all back together again and still wouldn't run... Frustrated at that point pretty well.... Finally removed the fuel shut off switch again to notice some of the tiny rubber seal broke off and plugged the gas again... Few more shots of carb spray to clear the new clogs and now 1-2 pulls and she runs good. Phew.... Now I have to put the pump back on later in the week and taking it somewhere close that I test make sure seals are all good... my luck it'll leak like hell...

LOL that engine was used roughly.. Does the variable speed work now? When I had it, the engine had two speeds, on and off lol.

It's a brand new engine I got off ebay early last year, I ditched the briggs it had because it died beyond repair... The only thing left from the original dredge is the green suction hose. I have replaced everything else.

i would say the it would have been better to buy a new one but that would be a mistake since every time A install something new from the box I have to fix it before I leave the customers house, Just seems that everything is a POS these days It just makes me sick. I can remember when things were built to last not to have to fix when you open the box. Downsize Sucks now if I can just get that to Dredge I will be able to empty the Rivers.
