Purpose of this forum

This section is for posting pictures of any lead, mercury, rusty metal, tires, and just general junk that we bring out of a creek.  What I would like to see is the following

dated photo
county recovered from
weight of lead or metal if possible
ultimate destination of debris: example: lead weight saved for later recycling or trash disposed of in my household trash

this information could be very important in the future and any participation would be a huge plus for our hobby.

Found a bunch of old nails and unknown iron parts this weekend. Think from the old wood bridge back in the day. Also found a 5 gal plastic barrel but I couldn't get it out. Saving that for something my son can do when he tags along one day.
