Dang! You winter dredgers are tough. 18 degrees? Nope, I don't want to even go outside when it's that cold. Lol. My winter dredging is called long arm dredging and even then, not at 18 degrees.

Ya we need to figure out the umbilical and so forth, to make sure the dredger / tender has heat.

Art i also have a unit like yours if you are going somewhere with good flow it will work better if u work a area with not much flow the silt messes with the flow meter need a large filter and it will be emptyed often the bright side is that if flow slows the flow meter keeps u from getting burnt but in turn gives u some issues running and being dependable when its 18 you need it t work all the time.

I have a filter running off my pump, then to heater. I am setup, just need to use it. I also, insulated my hose too. Bought me a hood the other day at Bill's that fits.

I need some creek boots that are cleated and will not slip unlike the slick shoes I have now.

Anybody know of good plans for exhaust heater? Want to be careful with these can burn you easily from what I have read. I have a 7ml suit wondering if it will be enough for winters here in southeast? Rick
