We found this one recently that stayed nicely intact. Most of these break apart from shoveling into them. So it's nice to find large specimens like this.

That's the stuff that looks like asphalt.. Ya need a crusher for that..

In the second picture, it shows how the manganese oxide is bubbled on that one stone. So that means all that manganese oxide was liquefied and flowed down stream during a geothermal event. Almost making me want to take a walk upstream and see where it starts,which would reveal the head of the source. And Loki and I both know, we hit these con globs..then gold not far from it. Yea a crusher maybe.. but between my hand-held pickaxe, another rock, or the handle butt end of my rock brush, we break off or break apart the con-globs. Globs like these pictures we try to keep intact, for specimen purposes and to show off.
