It's funny that the state was purely founded just because of the gold that was found there. That is the states heritage. I mean it was born from the gold production. I am originally from California. San Diego area. There is some big nice gold out there. I like NC it's a place with seasons

I know the drug cartels are thick in the back country. Cali needs to divide into 6 states as proposed.

I used to dream of moving to California and dredging for a living. So sad the state government has been taken over by greenie liberals and bought out by Indian casino money.

My dad's best friend was a prospector in northern Cali. He built his house with the money he got from his gold. He did not own a dredge. I have no desire to ever go there for any reason.
