I agree with both sides of the argument, James is sorta correct, because with the LDMA you have to pay to play on their properties, but this is a one time deal, unless you're a guest of a LDMA member, but Loki is also sorta correct, once you pay, you can play for the rest of your life and you also can camp for free.

I know that when I go prospecting/highbanking/dredging, or even panning at any location that has deposits of gold I pay a good deal of money to do, even if it's a public place because of the distant I will have to drive to get there, motels, campgrounds, etc.
