Sorry let me clarify, all gold pig products were designed for mining the miner, he has not built a better mouse trap...

After watching the Hog Pan video, I'm like are ya freaking kidding me. Before Loki and I came up with our new way to classify, I did a lot of classifying. First flaw I see is that pan will cut the hell out ya hands (wet soaked hands easier to slice open) from the aluminum sides. Next the weight, bad enough ya fill a regular classifier it gets heavy, with this pan ya start out with 5.5 lbs against ya (thats empty) and when full up to 40 lbs. vs. a normal classifier that is light at beginning and maybe 25 lbs. with material. Next, price..don't take a rocket genius to figure which one of the miners are gonna buy $10 vs $250 one. Design of Hog Pan a bit bulky in my opinion and a bit over kill; and if the welds break ya out $250. With the plastic classifier, I can buy a lot of spare classifiers to one Hog Pan. Its like fishing equipment, you can go with $40k bass boat fully loaded or ya can get a simple jon boat with a small engine or trolling motor without all the headaches that a $40k bass boat comes with. Both will get ya to where ya need to be and catch the same amt of fish. Yes, I'm a fisherman and been through the same crap with that sport too. As with fishing I like to keep it simple and now with gold mining my equipment for that is simple too. "Work smarter not harder". The classifying method Loki came up with, makes it easier than ever to classify and we are not losing jack. Super fast, and go through a lot more material, and probably beat Doc with his Hog Pan, even with a lot of over-burden.

Its basically the same with fishing and mining, in buying good, reliable equipment. Oh yes I have bought fishing tackle that supposed to out perform the old reliable fishing tackle, but ended up being a piece of junk (I got suckered many of times). Only 2 pieces of mining equipment I got suckered with; Turbo pan and Gold Hog matting. The Turbo pan haven't really tried out, but from what I have, i'm not really impressed; and the Gold Hog matting well just can't beat good old Miners moss and a piece of cheap carpet, again suckered...lol
