Nice place not much gold. Mostly testing dredge set ups. Loss and recovery rates. Happy with results so far.

Shouldn't the young guy be shoveling and the experienced guy be running the camera?

Was the clean up gold all the gold for the day or what you found in the dredge tailings?

It was quick panning of cons. Hate to say but most likely final gold wont look much better. Lawerance is a camera hog.

Not necessarily, my friend. Testing is what it means. I've tested many creeks that are not in known gold areas and guess what... no gold. I've tested in areas that are know for gold,,, but fly poop at best. I've also found gold where it is not to be too. Way off the grid, so gold is where it is.

Testing is also called prospecting. When you find gold... you are mining.

That's why it got such a colorful name. Arts right though. It was mostly testing of my dredge loss rates. I can say we figured it at about 80-85% recovery rate.

No I wish that was true. I like finding new location if possible. Most aren't good enough to invite people out to or the property owners don't want me to bring people out. This creek produced some gold. But not enough to bring people out to nor enough to make me want to go back. Its trail and error.
