Trying a new app on my Iphone called youtube capture. It has a built in image stabilizer so overlook the camera going nuts when I started to video my green bowl. These were some cons that I had been saving from a few weeks ago. Setup is a Keene green bowl being fed by an Angus McKirk auto feeder. I can just load the feeder up and walk away, captures the majority of the gold, but some still gets by.

Keene quit making the Green Bowl because their mold cracked and it was said that it would cost about $10,000 for them to have another one made, so it wasn't worth the investment for the new mold for Keene from a business standpoint, if the mold had never cracked they would still be selling them today. There is also 2 version of the Keene Green Bowl, the first one had a smooth stepped bottom, the second version which is what Mark shows in the video has the stepped bottom with the addition of the spoke type "riffles" from the center outwards, many old timers say the original Green Bowl is better that the last version with the riffles, if you can find either version for sale they will usually sell for a minimum of $100. I own one of the riffle versions and would buy an original version if I ever see one in good condition for sale. I also own a homemade bowl dubbed the "Red, White, and Blue Bowl" made by Steve, A.K.A. Sanman who is from Virginia and a member of this as well as most other eastern gold forums. Bought version of the Green Bowl are said to work better than a Blue Bowl, but there are also several different makers of Blue Bowls on the market, the best of these Blue Bowls is the original D.A.M.M. Blue Bowl which is still made and sold. Here's some photos of the bowl that Steve made and also a photo of another "Black Bowl" he made.
